Paul – Food Retail (Kagadi, Uganda)
Paul is a married man, age 32, with two children who have not yet started school. He is a produce dealer involved in coffee and ground nuts, which he started as a major business to sustain the family. Paul is also involved in farming as an additional source of income; he operates these businesses in the outskirts of Kagadi.
This loan will enable Paul to buy more coffee and ground nuts, since the season is now on. Paul hopes that if he invests more money into his produce business, he will be in position to realise a good return at the end.
Paul’s major challenge are price fluctuations and the seasonality of the agricultural products. He would like to turn a profit so that he always has funds available whenever needed.
